The 2020 and 2021 Outings were certainly different, but a fantastic event that was made safe and fun by the hard work of the many volunteers NAMI Metro counted on to help us keep a tradition alive in incredible circumstances.
Many golfers told us how much they looked forward to this event, and how much they appreciated being able to get out and safely enjoy themselves in the midst of an ongoing quarantine.
Fox Hills was able to give us not just their two incredible golf courses but worked overtime to create a safe and socially distant environment to enjoy a plated brunch after the golfers completed the course.
Every year this event is critically important to NAMI Metro, but maintaining it despite the pandemic went a long way to helping some of the people hit hardest by the isolation and uncertainty created by COVID. We’re proud of the work we did this year and look forward to another great outing in 2021.
Skins & Pins is NAMI Metro’s key fundraising event. The money raised each year is the foundation for the support groups and programs that NAMI Metro operates in the community.
Our 2019 outing was the biggest one yet, with the most golfers, the most money raised, and fantastic weather and company.
The good people at Fox Hills have two incredible golf courses and an incredible brunch that we look forward to enjoying every year.
This is an event that’s fun to participate in and rewarding to support, because the money raised goes directly to support the mission of NAMI Metro, an all volunteer organization.
This was the 14th annual Skins-N-Pins golf fundraiser benefiting NAMI Metro. We played a scramble on Fox Hills Golden Fox and the Par 3 Strategic Fox. Both courses included a five star brunch at Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center. This event helps to support our all volunteer, grassroots organization.
LOOK FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR AT: www.skinsandpins.org
Skins-N-Pins continues to be a great success, with more golfers, more sponsors, more prizes, and more fun than any past golf outing. With each year the event gets bigger and better and NAMI Metro gains more support to do more for the community.
